Do you have a lot of photos that you want to share with friends and family but don't want to send the photos in email? Send them a Photo CD!
Note: This tutorial requires you to have installed Preclick PhotoBack and have either a CD or DVD burner or an external hard drive installed on your computer. The Burn or Copy feature in Preclick PhotoBack is free. You need to purchase PhotoBack if you wish to use the Backup features. You can purchase the Backup software by clicking here.
- Make sure you have the organizer and Preclick PhotoBack installed on your computer. If you do not have organizer or Preclick PhotoBack installed, click here.
- You first need to launch organizer software.
- Empty the Selection Tray - At the bottom of the View tab is the Selection Tray. Make sure there are no photos selected. If there are photos selected, click the Clear All button.

- Select Photos - Now select the photos you wish to burn to CD by clicking the checkbox for each photo or by clicking the Select All button at the top right of the thumbnail area.
- Go to the CD/DVD burning screen - Now click the Create tab at the top of the organizer. Click the PhotoBack Burn or Copy button.
- Select to burn a CD/DVD - Make sure “Burn onto CD or DVD” is selected.
- Select burn options - Then click the Options button.
You can now:
- Name your disc (recommended)
- Retain the photos’ folder structure as it appears on your computer (not recommended for a Photo CD/DVD)
- Leave the session opened or close (we recommend not leaving the session open)
- Include the Preclick CD Viewer on the CD for easy viewing straight from the CD (recommended). Note: The CD Viewer will only be included when burning the CD/DVD on Windows 2000 or XP.
- Include original files (if you are copying edited files)
Click OK and then review the Review section and then click Start Copying. Follow the prompts on your screen to finish making your Year in Photos CD/DVD
If you need help at anytime, just click the Help button on the PhotoBack screen or click here.
