Preclick PhotoBack™ Tutorial #2: - Setting Backup Reminders Note: This tutorial requires you to have installed Preclick PhotoBack and have either a CD or DVD burner or an external hard drive installed on your computer. There is no trial of the Backup feature in Preclick PhotoBack. You can purchase the PhotoBack Backup software by clicking here.
The Preclick PhotoBack plug-in can remind you to periodically backup your photos. To check or set your backup reminder, click on the Backup button next to the Help button in the organizer software:
Then click Reminder... Select Do not remind me to backup if you do not wish to be reminded to backup your photos.
You can be reminded based on the number of new photos (100, 200, 500, enough to fill a CD, enough to fill a DVD) or based on a time (every week, every month, every six months). Choose the check box next to the reminder you would like to set and then select the appropriate value from the drop down menu. You can choose to set reminders based on both new photos and time frame by checking both check boxes.
Note: If you select reminders based on both timing as well as new photos, the reminder will be display on a first come basis. Clicking the OK button will save your changes. When the software prompts you to backup your photos, you have the ability to snooze the reminder. If you need help at anytime, just click the Help button on the PhotoBack screen or click here.
